Plain Dutch Weave Extruder Screen

We produce woven wire cloth from stainless steel wire in plain Dutch weave and twill Dutch weave, specially designed for polymer melt filtration.

Plain Dutch Weave

This weave follows the basic interlacing pattern of plain weave. The difference lies in that warp wires are thicker than weft wires, and weft wires are tightly arranged side by side. This forms tapered, wedge-shaped mesh openings instead of conventional square openings.

In plain Dutch weave, warp wires remain straight, while weft wires are crimped into place.

Twill Dutch Weave

Twill Dutch weave adopts the interlacing principle of standard twill weave. Its characteristic is thicker warp wires paired with finer weft wires, which are closely arranged to form tapered and wedge-shaped openings.

Warp wires stay straight, and all crimping is undertaken by weft wires. Thanks to the twill structure, weft wires produce not only vertical depth crimping around warp wires, but also lateral sideways deformation.

Features

  • Fine mesh openings deliver ultra-high filtration precision.
  • High tensile strength, suitable for high-pressure working conditions.
  • Rigid integrated structure with long service life.

Applications

Woven wire cloth is widely used in absorption, evaporation and filtration processes across petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, mechanical, marine and automotive industries. It effectively removes mist droplets and liquid foam, and can serve as air filter elements for cars and trucks.
